Copywriting, Translation, and Localization: I created the editorial calendar and wrote copy for the English Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and (formerly) Twitter channels for Enel Group, Enel Green Power, and Enel X. This involved following brand guidelines and collaborating with Italian and Spanish social media managers, as well as occasional translation and localization.
Social & Community Management: I managed Enel's 3 main English social channels. This involved monitoring social conversations to measure brand sentiment, responding to user comments and messages, providing customer support in multiple languages (English, Italian, Spanish, Romanian, and Portuguese), and crisis communications.
Live Event Coverage: I traveled with the client team to capture and post live content from events like the Formula E series, conferences like Climate Week, new plant openings, awards ceremonies, and more. In addition to capturing my own photos and videos and sharing them via Instagram stories, I worked with local Italian vendors and production teams, giving feedback on different camera angles and shots.
Brand Storytelling: I shaped the brand narrative and creative direction for our sales pitch to lead the Enel Green Power social strategy for the following year. I developed a two-fold concept: Nature Empowers, Nature Powers Me. This narrative would guide content creation around two pillars: 1) Enel Green Power uses renewable energy to empower local communities and create new skill and job opportunities. 2) Renewable energy fuels people's everyday lives. I wrote the sizzle reel script and English social content for this campaign. (See tabs below for samples of my work.)
Collaboration: I worked closely with strategists, art directors, and fellow copywriters on every social media post, creative brief, and brand narrative. Each concept had to be translatable across Enel's main languages: English, Italian, and Spanish. It also had to be localized, which involved understanding and implementing DEI principles like inclusivity.
