Brand Development: I developed video-specific brand guidelines for bringing the Phase2 brand to life in video. This included expanded guidelines for voice and tone, music selection, graphics, imagery, casting, and lighting.
Creative Brief & Storyboarding: I crafted a creative brief to specify and itemize the branded video elements that we needed. Next, I developed a storyboard and script for the sizzle reel, sourcing reference content from Adobe stock footage and competitor/comparator videos. My vision for the sizzle reel was to show Phase2's capabilities and case studies, presenting the brand as dynamic and innovative.
Vendor Partnership: I worked with an art director on my team to scout and interview a handful of freelance video producers/motion graphic artists. After contracting one, I worked closely with him giving detailed feedback and timestamped notes on each draft and stage of production.
Creative Direction: I collaborated with the art director and video producer to develop the sizzle reel and branded video elements, as well as choose the music. Together, we brought our vision for the Phase2 brand to life, adhering to the brand's foundation built on authenticity, transparency, and trust.
DEI and Accessibility: I advocated for the viewer experience throughout the project, ensuring that we followed accessibility and DEI best practices for video production. This included creating specific brand guidelines for casting, storytelling, motion graphics, animations, and closed captions.
Company Training: After we wrapped the project, I presented the new brand video kit to my company and trained people on using it. This also included developing guidelines for recording screen presentations and polishing up meeting recordings.
